In 1966 our educational and social building was completed and dedicated. In the 40 years Peace Lutheran has been in Natomas we were blessed to have 5 pastors. Our most resent pastor who was here for 21 years was Pastor Mark Hass (1985-2006).
The Peace Lutheran Early Childhood Educational Center opened in 1982 to provide a quality, caring and professional educational program for children 2 years old to kindergarten. We are accredited by the State of California, and the National Lutheran Schools Association. We believe that each year is a precious to a child. Here it is our joy and privilege to provide a variety of experience that will assure balanced growth in your child. Our carefully supervised and planned program is designed to encourage your child’s participation and growth in spiritual, emotional, self esteem, social, physical, and cognitive.
In 1996 we held our 1st Vacation Bible School it was called Kingdom of the Sun.
Vacation Bible School is the premiere outreach event of the year for many churches. Few other events offer the potential to reach out to children and adults in our community the way VBS can. It offers a powerful and unique opportunity for sharing Jesus Christ and positively impacting the kingdom of God.
In 2002 Peace Lutheran had a website made by David Lozensky.
In January 2003 we change our name from Peace Lutheran Church to Peace Lutheran Ministries at a Voter’s Meeting. From May 31 & June 1 2003 our new ministries building was dedicated.
From October to November of 2004 we had 40 Days of Purpose at Peace. The 40 Days of Purpose was to have church fellowship, connected to a small group or Sunday school class for discipleship, taught how to approach God in sincere and authentic worship, equipped for ministry and service to others, and commissioned to fulfill their unique, God-appointed mission to the world.
In January 2005 Peace Lutheran celebrated 40th anniversary of being in Natomas.
In March 2007 we changed our website name to www.peacelutheranministries.org
and created by Christopher and Barbara Williams.
